Children can sometimes be difficult to photograph, especially when they are your own. I wanted some more up to date pics of my eldest daughter Jess & had been asking her for months, however playing out with her friends & going to the flicks was more important to her than any pictures. I managed to grab her for 20 minutes one weekend before she escaped back out with her friends. Jess has amazing eyes & I wanted to really make the eyes stand out so shot on f1.8 on a 50mm to get the shallow depth of field, shutter speed @ 1/500, white balance was set at daylight & iso at 200.
